Case Study · Point of Sale & Analytics
Thunder Brothers Point of Sale Rebuild
Thunder Brothers handles 30,000 car washes and millions of events a month. They needed a new ground-up data system to handle current and future scaling needs, and a self-service analytics solution to make sense of it all.
The Challenge
Millions of Events. Zero Room to Slow Down.
Thunder Brothers runs one of the largest car wash networks of its kind, processing 30,000 washes and millions of operational events every month. The systems behind that scale hadn’t kept pace with it.
Every wash, work order, and payment needed to flow through a platform that could handle real-time volume without buckling, and the point of sale system needed a ground-up rebuild rather than another patch.
On top of that, the 70–100 managers running day-to-day operations, and the regional managers and owners overseeing them, had no self-service way to ask questions of their own data.
- 30,000 washes/month
- Millions of events
- 70–100 concurrent managers
- Legacy POS limitations
- No self-service reporting
